Privacy policy

TireTally is made by Lorryn. This page explains what information TireTally keeps, why, and who else handles it. Questions: hello@tiretally.com.

What we collect

• Your account. Your email address and name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and Google account ID from Google. We do not receive your Google password or access to your Gmail, Drive or other Google data.
• Your shop. What you enter in the app: shop name, address, phone, hours, website text, logo and photos, team members, and your tire inventory with its photos, prices and history.
• Your customers' requests. When someone uses your TireTally website to ask you to hold tires, text them or call them back, we keep the name, phone number and message they send, so you can answer them.
• Technical data. Sign-in cookies that keep you signed in, rate-limit counters by network address to stop abuse, and server logs. Our websites use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies.

How we use it

Only to run TireTally: to sign you in, show your inventory and website, send sign-in codes and request alerts, read tire sidewall photos when you ask, keep the service secure, and answer you when you contact us. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

Who else handles it

• Cloudflare hosts TireTally, stores its database and photos, and sends its emails.
• Anthropic reads the sidewall photos you send for AI reading and returns the size, brand and date. Photos are sent only when you use that feature.
• Google handles "Continue with Google" sign-in, only if you choose it.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and shop data while your account is open. If you close your account, email us and we delete your shop's data within 30 days, except what we must keep by law.

Your choices

You can see and change your shop's data in the app at any time. To get a copy of your data or have it deleted, email hello@tiretally.com. Customers of a shop can ask that shop, or us, to delete a request they sent.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date above, and we tell account owners by email about important changes.
